LTF Recruitment are working with a successful SEND Primary school who are looking to appoint a experienced SEND teaching assistant on a full time/long term basis.

The role will be covering across the whole school where needed.

The main duties within this role will be:

• Following planned lessons across the key stages adapted curriculum
• Liaising with the regular senior teachers and learning managers around progress of the learners
• Using the school’s behaviour and rewards system to help engage the children in class
• always Maintaining strong behaviour management
• Delivering energetic and engaging sessions
• Differentiating sessions where necessary to meet the needs of varying abilities

The school are looking for someone with the following:

• At least one years experience working in a SEND setting.
• An understanding of autism
• Two excellent references with evidence of an excellent attendance record
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding classroom control

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Pay: £100-£130 per day

Hours: 8.30-3.30
