Your leadership will inspire confidence and clearly articulate an ambition for an excellent, equitable and inclusive education system that lays the foundations for the future well-being and success of all pupils.
Joining our senior leadership team, you will build upon the outstanding relationships and commitment to partnership working enjoyed between the family of early years settings, maintained schools, academies, colleges and other post-16 providers, and both councils to improve educational provision and standards in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
You will formulate, oversee and report on a strategic plan for improving the outcomes of vulnerable groups based upon evaluation of current performance to drive future improvement, which will require you to lead a co-ordinated approach with the other County Education Managers within the branch. You will jointly lead the Hampshire School Improvement Service, working in partnership with other system leaders and drawing upon outstanding practice within education settings to exemplify high quality provision.
Through senior leadership experience in relevant settings, you will be able to demonstrate the successful and sustained impact of your leadership on standards and wider outcomes for pupils. You will understand the principles of inclusion and demonstrate how these would under-pin your work in this role. You will also be deeply committed to improving outcomes for all pupils, including those who are experiencing vulnerability or unfavourably affected by aspects of disadvantage.
In return, we can offer you the opportunity to join a strong and supportive peer group of senior leaders offering high quality support, challenge, and intellectual stimulus to a diverse community of education settings, who have high expectations of our services. In this role, you will make a difference to children’s lives through empowering senior leaders and other colleagues to be amazing professionals. These are just some of the benefits you will receive as a Hampshire County Council employee.
