The Impact you will have:
As our Account Manager you manage a team and the running of the Elemis Account by driving the sales of Elemis treatments and products, and developing sales and awareness of the Elemis brand using both internal and external promotional activity. To ensure the Company standards are maintained at all times to the highest level and that professionalism, honesty, customer enthusiasm and personal presentation is maintained at all times.
Day-to-day activities include:
- To be responsible for the growth of Elemis sales in treatments and products within the retail store.
- To pro-actively and enthusiastically drive sales and ensure that both personal targets and counter targets are met, and to strive to exceed set targets.
- To raise awareness of the Elemis brand and educate clients in the product and treatment range.
- To assess and collate weekly/monthly sales figures and analysis of business, and report such information to key individuals as and when requested.
- To insure the team are aware of their figures and targets and how the account is trading.
- To prepare rotas on a monthly basis that are fair and consistent, ensuring the counter is sufficiently covered at all times, attendance and timekeeping is to an acceptable standard and provide to Retail Operations Manager.
- To maintain the Elemis counter, site and treatment areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation and to also ensure that the team is very well presented at all times.
- Ensure that customer service is of the highest standard and to handle any client complaints promptly.
- Ensure that all details regarding clients are kept in the strictest of confidence, locked away and information is never discussed with inappropriate parties either inside or outside of the Company.
- To manage, support and develop a small team within your retail store by continuously monitoring and assessing performance and individual needs, to ensure that Company standards, image and values are maintained at all times.
- To assist and support in the on-going product knowledge and retail training for the team.
- To be responsible for the motivation and team spirit of your small division.
- To ensure that a complete stock check is carried out on a weekly/ fortnightly basis and any discrepancies on stock should be found and rectified.
- Customer returns should be recorded and returned to the Company using the appropriate paperwork (Return Goods Form).
- Ensure products and treatments prescribed are appropriate to clients needs and take into account medical contraindications.
- To participate fully in promotional / PR activity and ensure the success of the promotion and/or event.
The skills you have:
- Beauty Therapy qualification to NVQ level 3 (electricals) or equivalent
- CIDESCO certificate is highly desirable
- Experience within a similar retail / store role and industry
- Experience supervising and managing a team
- Proven sales record
- Practical work experience in conducting treatments
- Good level of computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous experience working with a professional brand
- Elemis treatment and product knowledge
- Knowledge of the Elemis Company philoretail/store
