We are looking for a highly motivated person to join Trust Talk2 in Hampshire as a Counsellor / Therapist providing counselling to children and young people aged up to 18 years who have experienced sexual abuse or violence. Trust Talk2 delivers therapeutic counselling sessions face to face or via the telephone and digital platforms. The service maintains focus at all times on:
- being child directed, strengths based, systems focused and outcome informed
- being actively engaged in all safeguarding matters
- recording accurate clinical notes for reporting purposes
- being trauma informed
We are looking for someone who is passionate about:
- Children's and young people's emotional health and wellbeing
- Improving outcomes for children and young people
- Hearing the voice of the child
The successful candidate must have:
- A diploma level qualification in counselling, child and adolescent psychotherapy, art, play, drama or music therapy, which has included a practicum / placement of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised practice
- Experience working with sexual abuse
- Considerable experience of delivering counselling to children and young people
- A comprehensive understanding of children's safeguarding
- Accreditation and membership with an appropriate organisation, e.g., BACP
- Your application must demonstrate that you currently use the skills outlined above AND those detailed within the Job Description/Person Specification. This should be done with an understanding of the context of the service described.

Car User Required as you will be required to travel to different locations within the South West Hampshire area to deliver the service to children and young people directly.
