Counselling agency based in Lincolnshire, Community Interest Company. Providing counselling for children, young people, adults, couples and families.

We have fully qualified counsellors who are trained in these areas to enable the best support for the communities we have identified. We do this by using the surplus from our training courses to fund those most at need of therapy.

We support:

Young people in abusive relationships,

Young people with SESN,

Adults with complex mental health needs,

Young people and adults who have experienced sexual abuse or rape,

Families who are facing cancer.

Our Vision

NW Counselling Hub CIC (NWCH) provides a central hub to support children, young people, adults, families and couples within Lincolnshire.

The hub delivers essential support for trainee counsellors and qualified counsellors via; training, CPD, networking, supervision, an open-door policy and a support line.

NWCH enables local people to start a new career in counselling in a safe, ethical, moral, empowering and empathic environment.

Job description

Counsellor/Therapist required to start ASAP to work with adults, young people and children.

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Counsellor/Therapist. The hours are 4pm, 5pm and/or 6pm, Monday-Friday.

The candidate will be a member of a relevant professional body with experience of working therapeutically with adults, young people and children.

The successful candidate will provide evidence of their training, experience and ethical practice. You will need to be able to work independently, effectively under pressure and to be superbly organised.

Due to the nature of the work and the therapeutic relationship, reliability is also paramount.

A Supervision qualification would be desirable, but not essential.

Sub-contracted position.

Rate of pay: £20 per session.

Experience:

Counsellor: 2 years Post-qualifying experience

Education:

Level 4 Diploma

Relevant body (Preferred)
