Location: Remote
Position Type: 20 hours per week
We are recruiting: 6 x Qualified and Accredited Counsellors
Successful candidates are required to have high-speed broadband and a dedicated space to conduct Telephone or Online Counselling in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Counselling Qualification
AND
- Accredited member of a recognized counselling organisation in the UK (BACP, NCS, etc)
Role & Responsibilities:
- To create a therapeutic relationship alliance and work using evidence-based solution-focused brief therapy to achieve therapy goals
- To implement risk management plans as appropriate
- To work in accordance with our policies, procedures and guidelines
- To liaise and consult with other professionals in supporting the client as required
- Ensure clinical records are properly and accurately maintained as required
- To participate in external clinical supervision and attend group supervision
- (GDPR)
- Ensure compliance with any necessary ongoing psychotherapy registration requirements
- To maintain professional and personal boundaries
- To be flexible regarding working hours in line with the needs of the service
Skills Required:
- Ability to work with adults (individual) assessment and therapeutic work
- Knowledge of Brief Solution Focused Interventions,
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
