Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity in our Finance team for a COGS & Import analyst. You will support the COGS & Import Lead in ensuring accurate insight on COGS reporting and forecasting for the NHSc UK & Ireland Category. You will deliver timely and accurate review of import transfer prices across the NHSc business category. You will provide informed and highly effective decision support including weekly and monthly variance reporting & costing support to our factories.

A Day in the life of…
You will be required to support the COGS lead on reporting and queries from the Category building strong relationships with our customers. Support the COGS Lead to ensure there is a smooth process with importing products into factory production acting as a link between producing factories and 3rd Parties. Prepare management accounts and performance reporting for Factory operations. Ensuring timeliness, data integrity and compliance with Nestlé Accounting Standards. Working alongside the factories is pivotal, ensuring robust analysis and provide understanding behind the performance to the business.

  • To ensure Import Transfer Prices are correctly reviewed across all businesses and validated in line with procedures.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with managers and key contacts in the business & factories and develop a good understanding of the manufacturing & COGS processes.
  • Own the resolution of technical issues raised by Operations & the Categories.
  • Support Category, Factory Controllers, Operations Management, BP&A and Divisional Analysts with the analysis and interpretation of reporting data.
  • Deliver a highly responsive & effective product costing service, maintaining system costs and calculating costs for product development.

Key skills required include:
  • Good Excel skills and preferably SAP experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly proactive with ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
  • Strong results focus to meet deadlines along with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to step up into a leading role to ensure the team meets tight deadlines.
