As the Cost Accounting Manager, you will be essential to developing and maintaining the Company's cost accounting processes and product costs and will prepare cost of goods sold and gross margin variance analyses and forecasts. You will also be responsible for taking part in monthly closing activities including journal entry creation, account reconciliations and preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior leadership.

What you will be responsible for:

• 
  Lead the development and implementation of costing standards and product costing
• Perform analysis and reporting specific to standard cost variances including labor efficiency, overhead, scrap and PPV
• Manage inventory reserves process in accordance with Company policy
• Oversee internal and external inventory cycle counts and reconcile variances
• Perform month end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Capital tracking and associated depreciation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required
• A minimum of 5 years experience performing cost accounting duties and leading variance analysis and forecasts
• Prior experience in cost accounting roles performing gross margin, Inventory, and cost of goods sold analysis
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and policies
• Experience with NetSuite preferred but not a requirement
• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (advanced knowledge with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Understanding of BOM & routing build up
