Job description
Position title: Junior Accountant, Corporate Accounting
Location: Montreal (hybrid)
Reports to: Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting your role will consist in registering financial accounting transactions.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Prepare accounting entries;
- Perform month-end closing including balancing intercompany transactions;
- Perform analysis of various balance sheet accounts;
- Prepare bank reconciliations related to payroll and accounts payables;
- Participate in meetings with other departments to discuss and follow up on issues identified through reconciliation and analysis;
- Participate in the quarterly forecast and annual budget preparation;
- Participate in year-end forms preparation for Tax and Financial Reporting.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- University degree in Accounting, or are in the process of obtaining it;
- Minimum of one or two years of experience in a similar position;
- A professional designation is an asset;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Knowledge of GAAP and SAP (FI/CO) is considered an asset;
- Bilingual, English* and French, both spoken and written.
*This is required since as part of this function, you will have to intervene with customers, partners and/or our American subsidiaries on a recurring basis, both orally and in writing.
You must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, aptitude tests (for some positions) and reference verification.
