Compensation:
- $70,000 - $90,000.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Plant Accountant who needs to be competent in full cycle accounting and handle all financial matters. You must be located in Williams Lake, British Columbia, but we offer a relocation package if you don’t already live there. Experience working at a forestry company, or with clients from that industry, is preferred. Mining or manufacturing experience is considered an asset. Career advancement is also available due to the opportunity to be promoted within to Divisional Controller in the future. Great opportunity to grow within the company!
Major responsibilities:
- Prepare and process month-end duties including journal entries, financial statement package, related mandatory reporting and general ledger reconciliations.
- Participate as a key member of the management team on site.
- Support the gathering of details for the annual business plan.
- Assist management with department cost control, cost/benefit analysis and provide financial information and recommendations.

- Full cycle accounting experience in the forestry, manufacturing, or mining industry.
- Motivated individual with a career growth mindset.
- CPA designation OR currently enrolled in a CPA program.
- Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced work environment.
