Corporate Security Officer - Nights
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Westminster - LGA
Bouygues Energies and Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our Facilities Management team at a prestigious Government building in Westminster working NIGHTS.
This is a permanent role working 45.5 hours per week, 4 on 4 off nights.
Flexibility would be an advantage as there may be the requirement to work other shifts, often at short notice.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within security by gaining experience in a highly professional and corporate environment with many other opportunities existing across our wider Security team for an individual looking to further their career.
Key Activities:
- Reporting to the Security Management Team
- To ensure access control and booking systems are complied with
- To guard and patrol the building
- To use all relevant surveillance and communications equipment
- To respond to security alerts and emergency situations, and maintain accurate records
- Working an average of 45.5 hours per week 4 on 4 off night shifts from 19:00 to 08:00
Skills & Qualifications:
- Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision SIA licence is essential
- Desirable to have experience in a similar role in a Blue Chip / Corporate environment
- Smart, well presented and confident with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Level of fitness commensurate with required duties (patrolling, standing on designated posts)
- Previous training in Conflict management awareness and First Aid would be an advantage
