The Recruiter will be a home-based position but must be based in the Dallas area. Report to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, the Restaurant Management Recruiter and will play a crucial role in attracting, evaluating, and selecting top talent for our organization. Primary responsibilities will be to source, screen, interview, and recommend restaurant management candidates.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Partner and collaborate with hiring leaders to understand their staffing needs and requirements for leadership roles within our restaurants.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and industry events, to source and attract potential candidates.
- Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit for specific positions.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate outreach, resume screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
- Conduct comprehensive and objective candidate assessments to evaluate leadership skills, industry knowledge, and relevant experience.
- Evaluate candidates' soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service orientation, to ensure alignment with our organizational values.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers and other relevant stakeholders, providing guidance and feedback to support the selection process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions, considering both candidate qualifications and organizational fit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, feedback, and hiring decisions in the applicant tracking system.
- Actively promote our employer brand within the restaurant industry by showcasing our company culture, values, and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and industry organizations to enhance candidate sourcing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience as a Recruiter within the restaurant industry or equivalent restaurant management experience.
- Solid understanding of the restaurant industry's unique recruitment challenges, trends, and best practices.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other relevant HR software.
- Strong knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
