About the Role:
The Corporate Recruiter will support the HR Department by building a strong pipeline of A Players for the company’s current and future staffing needs.
Qualified Candidates Need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to cold call, network with candidates, and with internal colleagues for referrals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. (operations, finance, data entry, technology, sales and customer support).
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs). Any experience with JazzHR is a plus.
- Familiarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databases.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with hiring managers and/or other HR staff during all phases of the recruitment process.
- Screens applications and selects qualified A Player candidates.
- Use social media networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential A Player candidates.
- Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates.
- Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates.
- Proactively seek referrals from internal and external networks.
- Develop a network of potential A Player candidates and industry professionals.
- Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases.
- Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential A Player candidates.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years proven work experience managing all phases of the recruitment process.
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavioral, etc.).
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of the human resources department.
- Create and execute Boolean searches for candidate mining amongst multiple platforms -LinkedIn, Indeed, Google, etc.
