Job description
30 St Mary Axe (widely known informally as The Gherkin) is a commercial skyscraper in London's primary financial district, the City of London. With 40 storeys, it is 180 metres tall and stands on the former site of the Baltic Exchange. The building has become an iconic symbol of London and is one of the city's most widely recognised examples of contemporary architecture.
Our client here stresses that whilst it is undoubtedly a high profile and glamorous site the successful candidate also needs to understand that the site is very process driven and fast paced. The team work very quickly and have to grasp that each client based in the building have different protocols and ways of greeting clients which have to be adhered to.
Monday - Friday
Rotating shift pattern between the hours of - 08:00-16:30, 09:00-17:30, 09:30-18:00, 10:30-19:00
Salary - £30,911.00

About The Role
- Process all visitors in a polite, courteous and professional, demonstrating an understanding of 5 star and VIP customer service
- Prepare and deliver the service for VIP visits and events
- Oversee standards of housekeeping in all areas of the Reception
- Liaise with the Security Team Members to ensure service standards are consistent
- Carry out lobby hosting, working as a team to enhance the visitor journey. Where possible escort VIP visitors to the lift lobby or floors
- Work proactively and anticipate the needs of the client and visitors to the building
