Job description
Are you a well organised, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail? Are you looking to develop a career in Fundraising?
We are looking for Corporate Partnerships Team Assistant to join our fast-paced Corporate Partnerships Team in an exciting and varied support role.
Dogs Trust has exciting plans to grow its reach and impact over the next ten years with the launch of our new organisational strategy. In fact, we’ve been helping dogs for over 130 years. In that time, we’ve found forever homes for hundreds of thousands of our faithful friends, dramatically reduced numbers being put to sleep, and helped to all but eliminate strays from the UK’s streets. We've also established universal microchipping, campaigned tirelessly on important issues such as puppy smuggling and grown influence and impact on the international stage. But we know there’s so much more to do. There are still millions of dogs - and people who love dogs - around the world who need support.
Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Team Manager, you will play a key role in the team providing vital administrative and fundraising support for our partnerships.
You will also be expected to contribute to a variety of activities involving building relationships with other teams at Dogs Trust. This role will involve maintaining systems and databases for partnerships and supporting the writing of reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in Corporate Partnerships whilst working for Dogs Trust’s Corporate Partnerships team.
You will help in the development of the charity's partnerships strategy and ensure effective stewardship of all existing corporate partnerships. A separate Team, the Corporate Development Team, is responsible for new business acquisition.
The successful candidate for this position will have excellent attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills, with a methodical approach to work. You will be a confident communicator and will be comfortable working with people at all levels. You will also have a true passion for Dogs Trust and the work we do.
