JP Morgan are actively hiring Analysts and Associates into the following teams within the Corporate & Investment Bank Controllers organisation:

• Product Control
• Program Management
• Planning & Analysis
• Legal Entity Control

Product Control

• Product Control are an independent control function ensuring the business lines are compliant with rules, regulations and standards related to P&L recognition, risk reporting, balance sheet management, capital framework and external reporting.
• You will be responsible for providing support to financial controllers and trading desks to ensure Profit and Loss, balance sheet and month end close procedures are done correctly and accurately.

Program Management

• As a Program Management professional you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
• You will provide subject matter expertise for change management processes and program management of major initiatives, largely focused on Finance and Controls

Planning & Analysis

• As a member of the Planning & Analysis team, you will utilize your analytical skills and be responsible for a wide range of activities including forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics and management reporting.
• You will analyse, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data as well as prepare reports, while always thinking of and devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvement.

Legal Entity Control

• The Legal Entity Control team is responsible for financial oversight of their legal entity and is tasked with ensuring that a strong control environment exists as it relates to all businesses, products and operational areas that impact the Legal Entity financials and regulatory reporting of the firm.
• You will maintain strong discipline and ensure financial statements are complete, accurate and done timely. You will ensure regulatory requirements are met, and adequate control environment is in place, and our entities stay well capitalised.

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• A desire to work within Investment Banking
• Analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
• Motivated, positive \"can do\" attitude
• Influencing skills to manage interaction with diverse groups internally and externally
• Finance experience would be great, but is not essential
