1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

1) Corporate Banking Associate (Business Consultant)

- Job Purpose:

  • To help RM to initiate, establish, terminate, monitor and manage credit activities with customers
  • To help RM to manage and control credit application of future customer(s) and maintenance of existing customer(s), prepare documentation for credit approval from senior management of the Branch or/and Head Office
  • To help RM to management of non-performing or past due loans

- Main Duties:

  • To process loan disbursement and repayment of interest & principal and managing and maintaining loan transaction history
  • To perform KYC procedure for new customer and KYC refresh for existing customer
  • To manage Deposit & check settlement processing of the customer’s accounts
  • To check and verify the loan information of each customer that represents the present balance of Commercial Loan, Operating Loan and etc.
  • To verify D/A, D/P notice processing to the customers and verify settlement processing
  • To review and arrange safeguard of legal documents such as loan and security agreements
  • To handle all loans that require legal action and make effort to collect on loans that have been charged off
  • To check the compliance with covenants and approval conditions of loan
  • To maintain current & updated status of collaterals such as guaranty, real estate, insurance etc.
  • To settle the problems which may happen between the customers and our branch (or our domestic branches / head office)
  • To monitor, evaluate and control accuracy and appropriateness of loan or deal transaction
  • To conduct periodic credit assessment by inputting figures from BS, PL etc.

2) General Affairs Staff

- Job Purpose:

  • General Affair staff is responsible for assisting the GA manager with day to day organisational administrative tasks which are often to be dealt with in a confidential way, secretarial functions, general affairs, assistance to the general manager and other managers. The staff is charged with dealing with a number of secretarial duties, telephone and mail and other general administration including personal assistant to the general manager. He (or she) needs to build and maintain good relationship with service providers. A high level of time management, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills are desirable for the general affairs staff.

- Main Duties:

  • To plan, develop, implement, and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align staff with the strategic goals of the company and lead the implementation of a performance management system.
  • To execute company operational expense as well as generate bank transfer to service providers after approved by GA manager
  • To provide general supporting activities such as the administration of company legal documents and permits; office cleanliness; and company transportation
  • To assist manager with budgeting, operating and monitoring company’s operational expense in monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • To plan and coordinate company events by budgeting, discussing with other departments and making optimum decision.
  • To build good relationship with companies that provide our company services that help us to generate better administrative activities and operations
  • To assist other departments when essential projects or tasks needed

3) Global Transaction Banking

- Job Purpose:

  • GTB means Global Transaction Banking and shall be mainly responsible for the transactions related with international trades mainly based on Letter of Credit. GTB Lab in the head office establishes the overall business direction and strategies, and the branch will suggest regional appetite and each feature of counterparty in order to accommodate various operational differences. GTB pursues flexible purchase (acquire) or selling of the asset depending on the situation

- Main Duties:

  • To process daily RAs and Claims
  • To follow up disbursed transactions
  • To manage the repayment on each maturity in timely manner
  • To expand counterparty network
  • To monitor secondary market to seek for further purchase or sell down
  • To manage and monitor CE list regularly
  • To maintain contact with counterparties

4) IT

- Job Purpose:

  • A job purpose of IT officer is to manage complex network of information, system, applications, software and hardware within the organisation. This will involve to support DPO and ISO to coordinate and implement the systems and services that keep essential information and technology solutions available to the rest of the organisation. Also, implementing security systems in computers as well as assessing and revolving any computer network security issues. This includes focusing on cyber security, hacking, and network weaknesses.

- Main Duties:

  • To conduct weekly intensive technical reviews of IT systems to identify areas of risk and develop plans for protection of digital data against unauthorized access, modification, deletion, and release
  • To monitor IT systems and users on a constant basis to ensure compliance with established computer security protocols, and provide appropriate discipline and training to violators of standard procedures
  • To oversee computer security files and network infrastructure to determine overall safety and perform corrective and preventative actions as necessary, including updating virus protection, downloading new software, and modifying access permissions
  • To complete bi-weekly risk assessments by analysing security data, testing data processing systems, and studying known threats across various platforms and environments in order to formulate effective protective measures
  • To develop training courses as time permits for users to promote security awareness, enhance overall protection, and improve efficiency
  • To coordinate with in-house security and technical personnel as well as outside vendors to build or modify IT architecture and implement upgrades when necessary
  • To monitor IT systems and users on a constant basis to ensure compliance with established computer security protocols
  • To develop training courses as time permits for users to promote security awareness, enhance overall protection, and improve efficiency
  • To organise and manage complex network of information, system, applications and hardware within the organisation.
  • To assist general IT issues within the organisation.

5) Settlement Staff

- Job Purpose:

  • The biggest roles and responsibilities of settlement is to manage operation for treasury deals by acting as the middle/back office functions.

- Main Duties:

  • Daily processing and settlement for Money Market and FX trades
  • Perform investigation and resolves any discrepancies in the settlement amount as well as reconcile the cash breaks
  • Handle queries from external and internal stakeholders on product and functions
  • Follow up ins resolution of trade discrepancies with clients, milled office and front office
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of settlement details in payment system
  • Control, monitor and resolve settlements/systems breaks status

*Other working conditions:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or expected to graduate within 2023) or Postgraduate in relevant field
  • Relevant work experience
  • IT experienced preferred but not essential

3. SALARY & BENEFITS

  • VISA: Work Visa - Have the right to live and work in the U.K without restrictions but not essential.
  • Annual Salary: £31,200 ~(Negotiable depending on experience)
  • Recruitment: Full-time. (Part time available for General Administration)*
  • Working hours: 8 hours/ 5 days (Full Time)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Holiday: 20 days/Year(pro rata)
  • Insurance: Provision of health insurance in accordance with local labour laws
