Are you a proactive, dynamic copywriter with a strong track record of writing and editing compelling marketing copy?


Viva Naturals is searching for a senior copywriter who will play a key role in our content development process and will guide and direct our freelance copywriting resources. Our ideal candidate has a passion for health and wellness, a keen eye for detail and is ready to deliver effective and inventive copy for the Viva Naturals brand.

The Role:


Reporting to the COS and directing freelance resources you will work with colleagues to research, conceptualize and execute communication solutions for integrated, cross-channel products and initiatives for e-Commerce.


What you will do in more detail:


You will craft our messaging across all Viva Naturals platforms:


  • Web Copy (Amazon, vivanaturals.com, etc.) 70%

  • Product label copy 20%

  • Email messages (Vivanaturals.com, Krilloil.com) 5%

  • Social content (FB, Instagram, etc.)

  • Collateral for events and other branding opportunities

  • Internal branding initiatives (style guides, etc.)


  • Gain an understanding of the Viva Naturals brand and products working closely with our Product Development Managers,Marketing Manager, and channel team(s).

  • Research and understand market trends, and key messaging using consumer reviews via multiple online channels

  • Research claims related to the product and its usage to generate consumer insights to inform copy development

  • Support and optimize product launches (supplements, food, essential oils, personal care) by writing and reviewing label and IRC copy, product inserts and product descriptions templates

  • Write compelling introductions and other content for existing and new products on our channels (Amazon, Walmart, Jet, eBay, etc.) including video scripts

  • Create thoughtful, compelling and informative content on Vivanaturals.com, ensuring alignment to our vision and brand story - including advertising, banners, blog, and some social content, videos, etc.

  • Create email content and sales campaigns for Viva Naturals and Krilloil.com including new customer, welcome and re-order/re-engagement flows; work with marketing manager and agency as required and be prepared to be flexible as we develop this in house capability

  • Draft press releases, speeches and content for specialized events

  • Continually strive to understand the business needs of each project ensuring timelines are met in collaboration with our Commercialization Project Manager


What you have done to get here:


  • Passion for health and wellness and experience creating superior creative for recognized health/wellness brand(s), ideally online/e-Commerce

  • Minimum 7 years experience means you bring with you an impressive portfolio

  • Experience guiding/directing freelance copywriting resources and ability to multi-task

  • You have the ability and versatility to write for different audiences and channels while aligning with our brand story consistently

  • Extraordinary written and oral communication skills - of course!
    A relevant degree or diploma is required
