Vertu Motors are looking for a versatile Senior Copywriter to work within the Content Team. You will report to the Head of SEO and work as the lead creative content and copywriter in the team, alongside a team of Content Executives.
Your role will be to lead the businesses creative and linguistic excellence by creating copy and content across a variety of formats. You will work as part of the creative leadership team to shape our creative, campaigns and messaging.
The role will cover our retail brands (Bristol Street Motors, Macklin Motors, Vertu Motors along with our Ancillary Business such as Vansdirect and Wiperblades.co.uk). You will be helping to position our brands as the number one retailer.
You will also help to mentor and guide a team of content executives through demonstrating exceptional creative leadership. You will understand what good copy is, how to deploy it to maximise results and work with teams across the business to produce first class materials.

The role:
- Writing, creating and implementing copy and content
- Creative leadership
- Facilitating creative workshops
- Managing content workflow
- Writing across Video scripts, Web, social, PR, Events, PPC, SEO, CRM, Email, and more
- Mentoring Content Executives
- Driving and developing strategy for copy and content
- Reporting and governance of area
Your experience:
- Experience working in an agency or client side as a Senior Copywriter
- A fantastic portfolio showcasing some of your recent work and achievements
- A degree in English, Creative Writing or similar (not essential but preferred)
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience managing teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Automotive subject knowledge and experience (not essential but preferred)
