As we continue to expand our marketing team and refine our go-to-market strategy, we’re looking
for an all-start content writer with SEO, email and marketing expertise to join our team.
Working alongside our product, design and content team members to showcase our Planix camera
system and iGUIDE, you’ll write a variety of content from blogs and news posts (SEO optimized),
email demand generation campaigns and customer stories.
Our solution delivers value into multiple verticals and ICPs including residential and commercial real
estate, insurance and restoration as well as engineers, architects and designers which means you’ll
have the opportunity to experiment with language-market fit and lead content writing across
Planitar.
This is a great role for an eager candidate with 3+ years of copywriting and content development
experience to work in a high-growth scale up.
On a daily basis you will:
● Write clear, persuasive, original copy that matches our brand tone of voice.
o Help craft the iGUIDE brand tone of voice, stretching us in new directions.
● Work alongside the marketing team to generate and bring-to-life concepts and ideas across
various mediums including social media, print ads, PPC and display, website, eNewsletters,
emails, blogs, brochures, case studies, video, etc.
● Develop presentation materials to be used by various internal stakeholders from senior
leadership to the sales team.
● Able to analyze data and understand what campaigns and copy perform better than others –
leverage this insight and recommend adjustments for future campaigns.
● Stay up to date with industry trends, including ground-breaking ideas, emerging
technologies and business solutions.
What we look for:
● An experienced copywriter with 3+ years of experience developing engaging content that
drives marketing results.
● A master of the English language, able to drive people to act based on words alone… coupled
with strong verbal communication skills.
● Ability to present and justify creative ideas and concepts – once approved, able to bring
those concepts to life.
● You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a keen interest in technology and robotics and
continuously innovate to achieve great results.
● Endless curiosity – you love asking questions and learning in an agile environment.
● Fearless attitude – you are competitive and bring a proven track record of achieving
measurable goals.
● Bachelor's degree or college diploma in journalism, marketing, English literature, advertising
or communications.
● This is a hybrid (2 days in the office – Waterloo, ON) or remote role depending on the
candidate and location.
