About your new role

As part of our continued growth we are seeking a talented Senior Copywriter to join our Marketing team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for enriching our website and SaaS platform with new content, guides and marketing copy related to global supply chain sustainability and risk management. You will be able to manage your time effectively to be able to absorb complex topics and convey these in a digestible manner to audiences who will have various degrees of background knowledge. The content you produce will be compelling, boost brand awareness and attract new business.


Key responsibilities

As a Senior Copywriter you are expected to undertake the following responsibilities as part of your day to day activities:

  • Create marketing materials, such as blog posts, white papers, case studies and copy for video content
  • Work with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and develop effective communication strategies
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer and wider marketing team to produce copy that is suitable for its intended audience and purpose.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in technical writing and copywriting.
  • Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise the company and products;
  • Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in marketing content;
  • Edit and proofread written content before publication;
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagements (e.g. comments and shares);
  • Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics for research.


General Responsibilities

  • Adherence at all times to confidentiality clauses set out in employment contract particularly with regards to the handling of sensitive data and information;
  • Attend training courses provided by the company and maintain awareness and adherence to company policies and processes;
  • Adhere to all company policies included within the Employee Handbook in particular the Code of Business Ethics, the Equality and Diversity Policy, the Health & Safety Policy, Internet and Email Policy and other asset related policies.

Requirements

  • University degree in technical writing, communications, supply chains or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience in technical writing or copywriting, ideally within a SaaS business environment
  • Ability to quickly navigate input to find important information for headlines and key messaging
  • Strong interest in the importance and impact of supply chain management
  • Excellent written communication in English and editing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and contribute ideas
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time management, ability to plan and prioritise effectively
