Job description
This position is responsible for writing, editing and proofreading all marketing, product and campaign copy within the business. We are looking for someone with retail experience and an interest in health and beauty, to implement tone of voice across our portfolio of brands and play a key role in developing and defining brand narrative. The successful candidate will feel comfortable working on a wide range of outputs such as campaign concepts, SEO projects, intelligent blog posts, packaging, educational inserts or in-store POS. They will understand the marketing mix and how to translate product values and USPs into dynamic creative copy solutions that reflect the brand ethos and resonate with a global audience. Acting as a brand guardian, the candidate will also play a key role in shaping and maintaining brand tone of voice and be responsible for keeping all copy guidelines up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit and proof copy for all marketing, product and campaign requirements, as well as supporting on any educational or internal communication requests.
- To take ownership of developing and maintaining copy guidelines that communicate product benefits and brand values.
- Liaise with internal Regulatory Advisors and the Legal Team to ensure compliance of all copy.
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to interpret business needs and develop copy briefs that deliver against project objectives.
- Research competitor activity and stay abreast of industry trends and consumer behaviours.
- Be actively involved and contribute in each stage of the creative process, from brief to launch, and pro-actively make recommendations to ensure optimal delivery against the brief.
- Collaborate with the wider creative and content team to concept, develop and deliver dynamic global campaigns.
