CONTENT
We're a creative family that works closely together to make sure our customers know every last detail about our products before purchasing. We have three primary teams: Styling, Photography, and Content. This is the team who makes sure customers have an engaging, seamless and luxurious experience. We're focused on continuous improvements and like to encourage everyone to make the most of their talents and contribute ideas.
LONDON
Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open-plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events
THE ROLE
You will join a progressive and innovative Content Development team. Reporting to the Content Lead, you will write innovative and engaging copy for Farfetch Platform Solutions, adhering to each client’s tone of voice and style guidelines. You will be required to create well-written, succinct, informative, and accurate copy that describes luxury clothing, accessories, and lifestyle products sold on the site.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will complete English product descriptions, ensuring go-live dates are achieved
- You will support Senior Copywriters with editorial, SEO and CRM copy when required
- You will deliver BAU excellence, maintaining the FPS level of quality and tone-of-voice.
- You will ensure descriptions are consistent and accurate
- You will be proactive in product, brand and competitor research, staying up to date with industry news
- Attend relevant brand training sessions and present points of interest back to the team
- You will attend and participate in writers’ workshops
- You will be responsible for producing product descriptions for specific brands or categories
- You will carry out audits when required
- You will be agile to work across multiple tenants and tools when required
WHO YOU ARE
- You have fluency in EnglisH
- You have a writing background, ideally in a fashion e-commerce environment
- You have knowledge and love of fashion at all levels from high-end designers to cutting edge street style
- You have a good writing style that is accurate, engaging and adaptable, with an impeccable use of grammar
- You have an understanding of garment and accessory construction
- You have the ability to work independently
- You have the ability to work quickly and to agreed daily targets and deadlines
- You are comfortable with digital work on an in-house CMS
