Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Web Copywriter to join our team. The Web Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling and engaging copy for our online platforms, including website content, product descriptions, email content, digital ads, and other digital marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and a strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape with a keen eye for copy and experience using web design and integration tools to measure mobile customer experience and performance.

Responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

• Write clear and compelling copy for e-commerce platforms.
• Ensure all copy is in line with the brand’s tone of voice, style guide, and messaging.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create cohesive and impactful campaign.
• Ensure all copy is approved by relevant stakeholders, including legal, marketing, and senior management.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and apply these insights to your writing.
• Contribute to the development of new content strategies and initiatives.
• Manage the translation process for all copy, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all languages either by writing French copy or collaborating with translation team.
• Provide copy & design plans and mock-ups to ensure continued innovation while staying up to date with Mobile design trends.
  
  This role will consist of both remote work and on-site collaboration as necessary

Qualifications

• 3-5 plus years of copywriting experience as well as post-secondary education in a related field. Fashion background is considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape, with a focus on home textiles or apparel.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to write copy that is optimized for search engines.
• Ability to write copy that is engaging, persuasive, and optimized for conversions.
• Proven ability to execute and deliver project deliverables with high attention to detail.
• Ability to understand, interpret and act on feedback from stakeholders.
• A self-starter with a high sense of urgency, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team dynamic to meet deadlines.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to participate in team knowledge share.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French. English language proficiency is considered an asset.
