Bathshack are looking for a new Copywriter based in our Belfast Offices in our beautiful Boucher Road Showroom. Working for a fun and friendly family run company, the role will sit within our highly successful Marketing and eCommerce team who were recent winners at the Irish eCommerce Awards 2022!
A bit about the role
We are seeking an inhouse ecommerce copywriter to look after website content including, category pages, product descriptions, blog posts and more. The perfect candidate would have at least two years experience in a similar copywriting role.
- Writing press releases & monthly blog posts
- Writing clear ecommerce sales copy to promote our products/services
- Researching industry-related topics
- Creating product descriptions for use on the website
- Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs and marketing materials.
- Writing high-engagement social media content that reflects the brand voice
- Work with the Ecommerce and Marketing manager on creating content for monthly promotions
- Conducting simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identifying customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensuring all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Updating website content as needed
- Editing and proofreading your own work and that of others
- Condensing complicated ideas into short, comprehensible clauses
- Working with Graphic Designers and marketing teams to ensure that the copy fits the needs of the project
A bit about you.....
- Proven work experience as a Copywriter or similar role
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Proficient with spelling and grammar
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

- Ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with web publications

Salary of £22-24k Dependent on Experience
