Coordinator - Customer Engagement
Location - Mobile
Salary - £31,575 - £40,745
We are looking for a self-motivated and highly organised Coordinator to join our busy engagement team. Our team delivers support to construction companies to help them with skills, training and apprenticeship/new entrant needs across England, Scotland and Wales. The successful candidate will work with the senior management team to plan our work and support project delivery. Our team is mobile and this role is homebased.
The post holder will support the Heads of Engagement and Engagement Directors in England, Scotland and Wales with planning engagement activity across the three nations. They will help to ensure the smooth running of a team of 100+ mobile workers.
Duties include:
- Planning for and managing team meetings
- Event management – in collaboration with internal and external teams
- Headcount management
- Supporting workforce and succession planning activity
- Diary management for the Heads of Engagement and Directors of Engagement
- Administrative aspects of budget management/control
- Coordinating project work for the team on a needs led basis
- Leading on projects as appropriate
- Management of recruitment processes for management positions
- Collaborative working with the finance, office management, Safety Health and Wellbeing team, HR teams and our enabling partners SSCL regarding team management and implementation of relevant policy and procedure.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
A high level of organisation/project management experience
Experience of budget administration
Proven track record of working collaboratively in complex organisations
Well developed written and spoken communication skills
An ability to negotiate, influence and persuade others
Experience of managing conflict
Experience of working autonomously
Experience of using Microsoft Office or equivalent tools including spreadsheets, databases, document management and communication applications
Proven problem-solving experience
Experience of working one-to one and developing effective working relationships across teams
Desirable
Knowledge of/experience working in the Construction sector
Some travel and overnight stays in the UK are a requirement of the role, although the majority of the work can be completed remotely.
