Business Centre Coordinator

The Old Bridge is a beautiful, privately owned, 18th century townhouse hotel. It sits on the banks of the River Ouse, but also on the edge of the town centre. Its atmosphere balances that of professionally run ‘boutique’ hotel and a relaxed, bustling inn; a popular destination for both the local community and visitors to the area.

We are currently recruiting for a full time business centre coordinator to join our excellent sales and reservations team.

Flexible working hours will be required to cover the needs of the business, predominantly working Monday - Friday but will include occasional weekends.

The job will include but not limited to the following duties:

  • Supervise the day to day running of The Business Centre, ensuring their welcome, experience and departure are all given the courteous, efficient and friendly service
  • Ensuring the Business Centre area is kept clean, tidy and appropriately set up ready for the following days business.
  • Promptly and efficiently field all telephone enquiries, emails and web enquiries coming to the hotel for the Business centre.
  • Ensure flexibility & deal with all requests including on the day demands with a positive and can do attitude.
  • Ensure all refreshments such as tea/coffee and lunches are served on time as per the agreed confirmation.
  • Actively achieving set budgets and targets
  • Provide outstanding service and exceed guests’ expectations at all times.
