We are seeking a skilled and creative Web Content Publishing Coordinator to join our publishing team remotely on a part-time/contract basis.
Ideal candidate will be British Columbia based.
As a Web Content Publishing Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and publishing a wide range of engaging content on behalf of our audience. This will include writing articles, news pieces, website content, social media posts, newsletters, news releases, emails, and more. You will play a crucial role in showcasing the best spa and wellness experiences to our global consumer base.
Responsibilities:
- Write, review, and publish web content.
- Update and refresh spa listings and editorial content.
- Conduct research to gather background information and maintain up-to-date knowledge of spa and wellness industry trends.
- Create engaging and well-written content for social media, blog posts, websites, and other online platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to develop content strategies that align with our marketing goals.
- Utilize WordPress to publish and manage website content effectively.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all content.
- Monitor and engage with the audience on Facebook and Instagram.
- Attend monthly meetings with the team.
Requirements:
- Located in British Columbia, with preference given to candidates from Vancouver Island or the Lower Mainland.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a writing, communications, or social media position.
- Proficient computer skills, including Word and Google Docs.
- Excellent knowledge of WordPress.
- Strong customer service skills and professional phone manner.
- Familiarity and comfort with Facebook and Instagram.
- Interest in travel, spa and wellness, and healthy living.
- Curiosity about AI.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
