The Workspace Coordinator will support with the co-ordination of Learning activities including managing bookings, invitations and attendance reporting. You will be based in The Academy, Fort Dunlop Birmingham. Hours of work Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm on site and Friday 9am - 12pm remote working. You will focus on the transition from onboarding to induction, enabling Currys retail colleagues to attend their induction course virtually or at The Academy, Fort Dunlop campus on day one of their employment.
Responsibilities:
- Management of colleague invites, joining instructions and attendance reporting for Learning courses, both face to face and Virtual courses
- Working closely with HRSS team to provide details of courses, dates and course capacity
- To provide administrative support to the Learning courses, including preparation of all learning material, trainer tools and Learner documentation
- Raising and authorising all Induction related Purchase Orders via our internal system
- Daily operational upkeep of the Academy environment including reporting and arranging any necessary maintenance work, completing weekly and monthly H&S and Fire Regulatory checks and ensuring that communal areas are clean and tidy
- Management of meeting requests for Fort Dunlop including: Allocation of meeting rooms and Visitors information/parking
- Completion of ad hoc tasks and duties at the request of the Learning Manager
You will have:
- Exposure to an office based, administration or front desk environment
- Exceptionally high personal & professional standards
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Skilled user of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables & other formulas
- Experience of managing room booking systems
- Organised with good time management
- Strong team ethic, solution focused and resilient
