Job description
- Organise, chair and take full ownership of Change Advisory Boards (CAB);
- Assess changes and challenge the content and detail as appropriate
- Define and document approvals, note actions and caveats raised
- Confirm decisions and customer approval requests accurately and to deadlines
- Ensure all request for change (RFC) have been sufficiently reviewed, risk assessed and approved in accordance with processes, procedures and quality standards.
- See changes from submission through to Post Implementation Review (PIR), ensuring the relevant communications are sent to stakeholders and changes are reviewed, recorded and tracked.
- Organise and chair PIR meetings with internal and external customers. Collate and assess PIRs and ensure issues raised when undertaking the RFC are understood and lessons learnt are recorded to improve future submissions.
- Ensure governance of the change management policy through continuous reporting, training and education on the change process, procedures and tooling.
- Identify and escalate issues with changes or the change management process to management. As and where appropriate, recommend or implement process improvements.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing advice and guidance as required.
- Update and maintain change schedules/trackers, ensuring they are up to date and accurate
- Circulate change notifications to relevant stakeholders
- Manage the Change mailbox; responding to or escalating queries/notifications as appropriate
- Compile data using ServiceNow for KPI’s and Trend Analysis to be shared with Change Management Stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of audits

Skills knowledge and experience:
- Strong experience working with Change Management toolsets, such as ServiceNow
- Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience with ITIL processes and change management
- Proven track record of independently identifying problems and implementing appropriate solutions
- Extensive experience with Data Analytics and independently discovering and outlining issues
- Competent user of MS Office to intermediate specifically Word and Excel
- Experience of creating and analysing reports in different formats
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
- Experience with creating, updating and reviewing process documentation
- Technical writing experience
- Experience of working to ISO20000 standards
- Knowledge of Cubic products and/or systems
- Experience of working within the transportation industry
- Experience of working in commercial contract management
- Experience of working with service level agreements
- Experience of delivering or presenting workshops/training sessions
- Knowledge of ServiceNow
- Degree in Business, Science, IT or Engineering discipline or equivalent education/experience
- ITIL Foundation
- ITIL Capability Certificate in Release Control and Validation examination
