As a Cook/Kitchen assistant at Sodexo in Oasis Academy Shortheath - Erdington, you’re also a team player and food waste saver. What you’ll do:
Be a kitchen star and plan all operations & training for the production team
Direct the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foods
Plan and price menu items, order supplies, and keep records and accounts
Work on the range with the kitchen team to train, guide & develop
Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard
What you bring:
- NVQ Level ?
- Food and Hygiene and Health and Safety Certificates
- Experience in menu planning and production
- Experience in or exposure to bulk cooking

Package Description- Cook/Kitchen Assistant - Term Time Only
- £11.40 Per Hour
- 30 hours per week
- Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 12:00
- Full uniform supplied
- Full training provided
- Meals whilst on shift
- Annual leave April - April 20 days per calendar year which increases with service
