An exciting opportunity has arisen for a cook. This will include early, lates and alternative weekends. within Fessey House Care home.
Excellent people skills are required to maintain positive relationship with service users and members of staff.
Your next role
You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service, which will include a varied menu to meet individuals needs and dietary requirements, ensuring the highest of standards of nutrition, hygiene and safety delivered at all times.
As a Cook you will assist with deliveries, restocking, and stock rotation.
You need to contribute to maintain kitchen and food safety standards and need to be able to organise day to day work tasks or activities in conjunction with the Head Chef.
You will need to be aware and comply with Health & Safety, Manual Handling, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Fire, First Aid and Accident/Incident policies as set down by the organisation.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”) and possess an intermediate food hygiene certificate, Level 2 in food or equivalent.
