The Opportunity Worldline Merchant Services - the main Business Line of Worldline with €3.0bn revenue in 2022 out of €4.4bn - are establishing a new entity in the UK: to serve our ambitions in this key market for the Group where we see potential for real business growth as a result of changes in the regulatory landscape due to Brexit. Our mission will be to become a market leading provider of acquiring services in the UK, delivering choice, value and new opportunities to merchants of all sizes, from Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) to large merchants (Corporate), as well as pure online players. We are currently applying for a license to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to establish a fully regulated business with the objective to start operations in 2024. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Position responsible for the Controlling activities of the newly created Worldline Merchant Services UK entity which covers acquiring services for UK-based clients. The position will report to the CFO of the entity and will work closely with the other finance functions (accounting for instance). This position will be driving financial disciplines across cost controlling, budgeting and forecasting and will act as a partner with the operational teams. Position is responsible for the following areas: Production of monthly reporting and qualitative explanation of actual variance Budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of revenue, margin & cash costs Preparation of reportings for regulatory requirements Regular meetings with Operational teams to discuss financial forecasts & performance, support for P&L creation for new client s or renewals Providing costs optimization solutions without deterioration of productivity Transverse projects (finance tools improvement, automation of recurring tasks, improvement of forecast quality, etc) Advising on ways of improving business performance Who Are We Looking For We look for big thinkers. In practice this means: Master's degree graduate from business school or university with a major in Finance You have an extensive experience of financial reporting systems and procedures (minimum 5 years controlling experience in complex environment) You master the use of softwares such as SAP / Iris / Clarity / Excel / BI / Finance reporting tools A previous experience in Financial Controlling / Audit will be a “plus” as well as any knowledge surrounding IT / Telco / Software industry Fluent in English You are known for your strong analytical skills.
