We've got a fantastic new opportunity for a highly knowledgeable and professional Finance Controller to join a leading fashion manufacturer.

Based in Leicester, as the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company. You will work closely with the Executive team to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and extensive experience in financial management and control.

This role is to be based in the office in Leicester, with the view of hybrid working once established and passed probation.

Main Responsibilities will include:

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
Management accounting (AP, AR, general ledger) and reporting.
P&L and Balance sheet.
Variance analysis against budget.
Cashflow analysis and reporting.
KPI reporting and analysis.
Treasury management.
Review VAT & EC Sales submissions.
Reviewing payroll.
Various ad hoc projects.

Person Specifications:

Financial Controller will be a fully ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is advantageous.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience in preparing and presenting financial statements and reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
