Our client is a specialist Engineering company due to growth they now require a Production Controller.

Job Specification

The Role

• Meeting the needs of customers, ensuring that each product or service is delivered cost-effectively, speedily and to the highest quality.
• Deliver the company vision and standards incorporating key areas of strategy and planning to the team.
• Fulfilling own responsibilities within the quality system (ISO9001) current Health and Safety and Employment Law educating staff accordingly.
• Meet weekly with management to discuss progress and re-align immediate priorities and requirements.
• Monitor departmental performance against the current plan and escalate with management accordingly.

The Person

• Experience within forecasting and demand planning, preferably in a manufacturing /engineering environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build professional relationships.
• Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to analyse trends.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Practical and logical nature in order to gain full knowledge and understanding of product ranges.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Good working knowledge and experience of using ERP systems or similar and Microsoft packages.
