Financial Controller
£75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The role is a sole charge role based in Mayfair, London working closely with Directors of the business.

THE COMPANY
They are a Real Estate Asset manager who are looking for a proactive and hardworking Financial Controller. They have just under £1b AUM and are on an exciting journey of growth and looking for a qualified accountant to grow with them.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent - Essential
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a real estate investment firm - Essential
- Experience of dealing directly with Investors would be very useful
- A good knowledge of accounting and reporting
- Excellent Excel skills - Essential
- Must be comfortable working in a small team
THE ROLE
This role will suit a proactive, ambitious, and go getting accountant. You will be working directly with the founders and partners and directly impact and have a voice with the growth of the company. You will be pivotal in investor relations answering queries and attending meetings with them and have oversight on the Fund administration. Role responsibilities include:
- Oversight of external Fund administration
- Processing monthly and quarterly journals
- Responsible for the investor report
- Review of financial statements (prepared by an external provider)
- Preparing monthly management accounts and monthly analysis for review by the founders
- Liaise with auditors for the annual audit process for both fund entities and corporate entities
- Support and be involved with the implementation of processes, system and control improvements
- Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT returns and annual adjustment calculations
- Prepare and submit the PSA calculation
- Answer Adhoc investor queries
