The company
We are currently working with a high profile sports rights holder with a global footprint. They are currently looking to identify a qualified Financial Controller to join on a 12 month maternity contract.
The job
In this contract role, you will be acting Financial Controller reporting into the CFO; overseeing the finance and accounting function.
You will be responsible for:
- Monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Technical Accounting including IFRS relevant topics
- Monthly consolidated management reports
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process
- Assisting with the transition to a new ERP system
The person
To succeed as the Financial Controller you will be:
- a qualified accountant - ACCA/CPA (essential)
- have at least 3+ PQ experience
- have knowledge of both local and international financial reporting and risk management
- working knowledge of MS Dynamics Business Central (preferred)
- appreciate working in a fast paced, start up environment
