Job description
You will be based within a City Centre Public Services Control Room. You will form part of multi-skilled team whose duties include CCTV monitoring, alarm monitoring & key-holder response, Call centre operations, Emergency 1st responder and an Emergency planning function.
Your working hours are 37 a week, mainly in 12 hour rotating shift patterns covering Monday to Sunday, nights, weekends and public holidays
We ask that you have relevant security and team working experience a good awareness/knowledge of the operations of a public service control room; CCTV, relevant legal and statutory requirements, partnership working, a good level of communication skills in telephone and radio operation.
You need to be able to have the skills for CCTV operation and observation techniques, excellent communication skills and ability in customer handling techniques, IT skills and ability to prioritise.
