We do put our monitoring staff through a SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence, therefore if you have this type of SIA licence, this job may be of interest to you. Security Liaison Officer required for a busy and vibrant company based in Coalville.
We are looking for a hardworking and efficient Security Liaison Officer to join our rapidly growing Coalville-based telematics company Global Telemetrics, which is the name behind proven and award-winning stolen vehicle tracking brands such as SmarTrack and Autowatch UK. This vacancy is for a position within our Stolen Vehicle Recovery Team and is primarily focused on providing quality customer service and liaising with various police forces over the phone. The role therefore contributes directly towards the company’s continued focus and drive to serve our customers in the best possible way and protect their assets.
The core role itself has the following daily duties:
- Calling customers on the alerts received to ensure the vehicle is safe and secure.
- Liaising with Private Investigators and Police in a Theft situation.
- Speaking with our installer/dealer network providing product and technical support.
- Speak with the installer network set up and commission new tracking devices when they are fitted, this involves testing and data entry.
- Providing customers with product and technical support in relation to tracker accessories, mobile apps, and website platforms.
- Running daily Police checks for all vehicles of Police interest and any potential stolen vehicles that are not reported to us.
The ideal candidate will have a majority of the following:
- Previous experience in an admin or customer service role
- Excellent telephone manner
- Able to adapt to different tasks and workloads and work under pressure
- Organised and able to prioritise workload
- Good team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- IT proficient with good data entry skills
4 on 4 Night Shift Pattern - 7pm - 7am
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£15.40 per hour
