Control Room & CCTV Operative
Location: Warwick Castle, Warwick
Hours: This is a permanent role. Hours will vary throughout the year, with a guaranteed 25.5 hours per week, which increases during peak times (school holidays). Shift pattern 4 days on 4 days off. Due to the nature of our business flexibility is required.
Warwick Castle are recruiting for an exciting role within the operations security team, based in our brand-new control room this role is responsible for monitoring resort CCTV systems. To ensure welfare of all persons visiting or working at the Warwick Castle & Knights Village. Prevent loss to the company and its customers from unlawful activity, fire or wastage. Provide a castle wide security function ensuring the resort is secure in conjunction with supporting the hotel teams with all security issues. Deal with all incidents in accordance with company & department procedures.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to
§ Support the safe and secure operation of Warwick Castle & Knights Village Security according to Codes of Practice, legislation and guidelines.
§ To effectively control security patrols and incidents at the attraction.
§ Have clear and effective communication skills and maintain proper procedures using the attraction radio communication system.
§ Effectively monitor the CCTV systems in a proactive role.
§ Effectively monitor the Castle & accommodation Fire monitoring system.
§ Effectively monitor all alarm systems & react to any activation.
§ Maintain a detailed and accurate log of all incidents in the DOB and any other relevant location.
§ Input data onto the security databases & electronic daily occurrence book.
§ Update the site duty manager regarding any occurrences whilst inputting data onto the Duty manager report.
Experience and skills required
- Confident and calm working alone and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- SIA CCTV Licence - Essential
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence- Desirable
- Full Driving Licence - Desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
