Job description
WT Products is a long standing control panel manufacturer and automation company based in Leeds. We have built up a large client base over the years working in many different industries. We build, install and commission systems worldwide and are currently looking for a control panel wirer to join our fast paced and ever growing workforce.
The ideal candidate would be capable of the following activities...
- Understand and follow component layout drawings
- Understand and follow electrical schematic drawings
- Mark and fit out backplate as per panel design drawings
- Accurately cut out doors and enclosures to suit the required components
- Be able to wire a control panel from start to finish following all documentation
Skills that would be a good fit...
- A good understanding of electrical principles
- Knowledge and ability to identify a wide range of control panel components
- Able to accurately measure and fit out panel following dimensional drawings
- Competent in the use of battery powered tools to accurately drill and cut out enclosures
- Able to cut, strip and crimp cables up to 120mm²
- Able to follow correct component torque requirements
- Take pride in their work which results in high standards

Starting pay is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
