We are currently seeking a Contract Reviewer to join us in our Redditch office. This is a good opportunity to join a close-knit, collaborative team providing critical support for Stantec across the UK & Ireland. Its an exciting time for our business as we seek to achieve our ambitious growth targets and diversify our portfolio of services.
You will be responsible for contracts review – assisting, supporting and participating in the review process of bespoke contracts with clients, sub-consultants and other suppliers. You will help with the identification of risks on contractual matters and promote the contracts governance during the drafting, negotiation, execution and archiving of bespoke contracts.
You will negotiate terms and conditions on contracts in order to reduce company liability or cost. You will work closely with Contract Manager and Corporate Counsel on more complex areas. You will review completed documents for final execution and manage all updates and modifications to contract documents.
Full training and support will be provided to help identity what Stantec looks for in its contracts with clients. We can also offer flexible and remote working options to help ensure you have a good work life balance.
About You:
You will have an educational level of at least A-level standard. You will have strong analytical and organization skills, with keen attention to detail with an ability to spot errors. Contracts or legal experience is not required for this role, but you will have a basic understanding of contracts and a level of comfort to review a high volume of documents.
You will have the ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners. You will have a high degree of self-management, initiative, reliability and flexibility to ensure that the best possible service is given to internal and external clients. Your interest in developing yourself and your knowledge of contacts management will be key to your success.
