About the Role

To support the Talent Solutions Team in the provision of Talent Management (TM) & Development services to Lockheed Martin business areas in the UK, Europe and Middle East. Responsibilities will include the organisation of development events, supporting any associated processes, co-ordination of the talent management process and the subsequent administration of data / actions. The successful candidate will be required to support other Talent activities as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
For and on behalf of Lockheed Martin and as directed by Lockheed Martin employees.
  • Support the Talent Solutions Team in the organisation of all courses as directed. This includes:
    • Organisation of logistics
    • Assisting the trainer on the day of training at various sites – face to face and virtual delivery
    • Liaising with Suppliers
    • Ensuring notice is given to attendees
    • Distributing course material to facilitators and attendees where applicable
    • Managing the course evaluation process
    • Supporting the Talent Solutions team in analysing results to make improvements and ensure return on investment
  • TALENT MANAGEMENT
    • Support the Talent Solutions (TS) team in the execution and administration of the talent management process and rhythm. This includes:
      • Maintenance of the talent management calendared actions
      • Co-ordination of the TS process steps in the collection and collation of information
      • Supporting the Talent Solutions team in preparing for talent reviews
  • ONLINE SYSTEMS & RESOURCES
    • Be the team subject matter expert and maintain knowledge of the LM online Talent Solution systems and development resources available. Provide support to the Talent Development Lead in ensuring that awareness of available resources is communicated to all employees. Support the maintenance of accurate records for all education completed by employees. This includes:
      • All training undertaken
      • All compliance training
      • All ethics training
      • Administering and supporting the setting up, development and updating of the Talent Solutions intranet, and being the team expert for the HR intranet
      • Become the department interface for the purchase order process & system
      • Become the Learning Management System subject matter expert
      • Support expense reimbursement claims as required
  • EARLY CAREERS
    • Support the Talent Solutions team in the execution and administration of all the Early careers management process and rhythm. This includes:
      • Support the Learning Specialist with all early career’s activity
      • Coordinate and co deliver the Early Careers training programmes and events for apprentices, placement students and graduates, collating feedback as required
      • Be the initial point of contact between the Manager and Training Provider when sourcing apprenticeships
      • Work with the business to organise and coordinate the work experience placements.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills as this role is significant interface with employees, managers and training providers
  • Attention to detail
  • Good systems skills and ability to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Share Point and Access
  • Experience in training course management
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel nation wide
  • Driving License
