We are looking for a Contract Operations Coordinator who will support the day-to-day activities for the Network Operations department pertaining to provider inquiries and updates. You will ensure the accuracy and completeness of provider data in systems and provider directory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Works closely with provider relations staff to capture and process provider demographic changes accurately
· Assist in various projects regarding provider participation with various product lines and/or payors
· Assist in the coordination of the roster validation and audit processes
· Complete monthly and quarterly rosters for several health plans
· Ensure reports and rosters are up to date as needed
· Follow up and assist with email inquiries and managing several shared email boxes
· Collaborate with various departments when needed to complete time sensitive projects
· Facilitate or assist with special projects and other initiatives to ensure provider data is complete and accurate.
· Provider portal access in a timely manner for providers and practice staff.
· Follow up with providers and health plans as needed.
· Provide department cross coverage.
· Attend department meetings as required.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· One year of health care experience
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
· Must be organized, detail oriented and have excellent follow up skills.
· Self-motivated with good time management skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sitting: 100% of the workday; standing is optional.
- Headset optional.
- Must be able to use keyboard frequently and intermittently throughout the day.
- Lifts infrequent, up to 25 lbs. weight.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
