CONTRACT MANAGER - RESIDENTIAL
The Opportunity
We are a contract cleaning and soft services provider to the FM arena in London, and widely regarded as the employer of choice. We manage and support both end user clients and managing agents with several Iconic buildings and developments you will recognise.
The account is a highly prestigious mixed use neighbourhood development that encompasses corporate, retail, high-profile residential and restaurants aspects. The candidate will be responsible for the cleaning service within the common areas of the residential buildings which are part of an iconic London location.
It is expected that you will work closely with the local community to prioritise local employment and other CSR opportunities.
The operation of the contract is 24 hours, seven days a week. Any applicant will need to be familiar with all shifts and manage their time accordingly. Currently, as one of four managers, you will work 1 weekend per month and take 2 days that week.
Cleaning and service of all areas is to be the highest standards possible.
The Package

The Role of the Contract Manager
· Responsible for all day to day aspects relating to the management and maintenance of the cleaning service within the contract specification and to agreed performance targets.
· Have full understanding and working knowledge of the client’s expectations.
· Responsible for work allocation to the cleaning team, keeping within the specified detail of the contract, the financial budget and working principles. Plan staff rotas and manage staff hours worked, sickness and annual leave.
· Manage cleaning materials, ensuring stock rotation and safety in storage.
· Conduct audits to monitor performance and the Company and client standards and expectations are being met.
· Liaise with cleaning operatives and supervisors to deliver training needed to ensure that the standards are met and record are kept accordingly.
· Understand and be aware of the cleaning equipment being used and maintain a current inventory of all equipment. Organise necessary repairs/replacements to ensure equipment is in safe order.
· Report any faults with equipment and follow relevant procedure and ensure equipment is not used until safe.
· Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH, you must demonstrate awareness of any site specific hazards and follow company procedures to manage.
· Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate.
· Comply with all Company policies/procedures and client site rules and regulations.
· Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
