Bristol City Council is seeking to recruit an experienced Contract Manager working within the Centralised Contract Management area of the service. The role is specific to the centralised strategic contracts within the Energy portfolio specifically the City Leap contract.
What will I be doing?
You will act as the council’s dedicated strategic intelligent client on a portfolio of complex/high risk contracts, ensuring high quality efficient delivery in line with contractual commitments.
What do I need to have?
You will be required to have experience of managing a portfolio of contracts from a client perspective with a proven track record in contract negotiations at a senior level. Ideally with experience in Private and Public sector.

We need someone with excellent understanding of principles of contract and performance management and ability to apply these practically within a working environment of social care and complexities and challenges of this sector.
You will need to have extensive knowledge and experience of applying contract law within a diverse/ complex organisation.
You will also need experience of developing and sustaining effective professional working relationships with a wide range of partners, stakeholders and suppliers, with a proven ability to lead and manage people and budgets.
