The Quality & Supply Chain (QSC) Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMO) Europe team is all about ensuring we can supply our everyday healthcare brands in the areas of Oral Health, Pain Relief, Respiratory, Digestive Health, and Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements from our 56 third party contract manufacturing sites in the European Region.
We manage a spend of approx. £375 million which contributes to sales of over £1 billion covering many different types of product dosage forms. We are a virtual cross functional team spread across the European region covering the complete end to end aspect of a supply chain in the areas of Supply, Procurement, Project Management, Quality, Planning, Technical, Packaging, Finance and Supplier Relationship Management.
We aim to complement the internal Haleon network and offer real value to the consumer and customer, by providing diverse technologies across a competitive, compliant, sustainable, and trusted, strategic third-party contract manufacturing site.
Experiencing total end to end Supply Chain processes and systems in the areas of:
- Manufacturing Operation and applicable dose forms
- Relationship Management across complex supply chains Internal and External
- Program and Project Management in a regional and global environment covering, Technical Transfers, Sustainability, Compliance and New Product Innovations
- Integration of new business models
- Working across multiple countries and regions.
- Working with a diverse and inclusive team
- Working with and exposure to senior leaders at all levels Internal and External
- Gaining valuable experience across multi-faceted functions of the supply chain.
What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?
We offer a supply chain placement within our team covering a broad range of areas where you will play a key role in ensuring our products reach our consumers and customers in an efficient and timely manner, working with senior stakeholders and leaders across many business units and central functions.
- Own and manage existing as well as new Tech systems and processes supporting the CMO teams.
- Support CMO Governance processes such as Risk Management, Project Review Boards, Monthly Operating Rhythm, Category Connect & Align
- Support the implementation of GSK global programs such as Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Anti Bribery & Corruption (ABAC), Conflict Minerals, Human Rights etc with 3rd party contract manufacturers.
- Support the delivery of a CMO capability program, focusing on individual and team development needs.
- Own the CMO Communications space working with the Regional Communication Leads.
- Support a Regional Supplier Relationship Team in managing operational activities, such as Supply Issue resolution, Project Management, Innovation, Sustainability, Compliance, Strategy etc.
- Support the rollout of global CMO processes across regions including the USA, Latin America, Middle East & Africa, China, Japan, South East Asia etc
- Support global CMO connect forums and communities of practises.

Education required: BSc, MSc, MEng, BEng, Biomedical Science, or any Supply / Procurement related degree.
