Full time - Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

We're a small, ambitious team based in the City of London, and operate on a hybrid working policy, mixing office time with working from home.

The Role

We're looking for a personal finance content writer to join our in-house content team and increase content output across a number of key brands, creating copy that will engage users and convert to leads.

This is a role for a curious writer with an interest in personal finance who is comfortable creating written content and updating existing copy on our comparison websites. This will range from commercial content / landing pages / guides to digital PR articles.

The candidate will ensure content meets brand requirements and passes our internal content checks.

As an inquisitive content professional, you will have a good understanding of how content contributes to achieving our business goals and our websites’ growth in highly competitive markets.

You will work closely with all content and SEO stakeholders within the company and will be expected to create copy that fulfills both content and SEO requirements. Your work will need to meet a number of KPIs ranging from page rankings to content engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit commercial, long form, evergreen and blog content to improve the performance of our websites.
  • Identify weaknesses within existing content and work with site level editors to improve content quality and freshness.

Skills required:

  • Ability to write different forms of website content
  • Previous experience creating commercial web content (excluding e-commerce)
  • 1+ years experience in a written content role in a highly competitive B2C market
  • Strong command of the English language and grammar
  • Knowledge of/Interest in personal finance
  • Demonstrable examples of successful content pieces to be discussed at your interview
