Senior Marketing Writer

Survalent Technology is looking for a full-time Senior Marketing Writer to join our casual, friendly, and expanding team.

Under the direction of the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for generating a range of content that supports the strategic and operating goals of the company. You will use your knowledge of marketing communication best practices to craft emails, ads, and web content that inspire action; create collateral such as blogs, brochures, case studies, and ebooks to support all stages of the customer journey; and promote the brand via social media and event promotions. You’ll be joining a collaborative Marketing team, where new ideas are welcomed, and a cooperative spirit is valued. Please read on to learn more about the position.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Director, Digital Marketing Manager, and your fellow Senior Marketing Writer on the development and execution of an annual marketing communications plan
• Research and write content to support email and social campaigns, product launches, sales activities, and event participation
• Share customer success stories through the development of press releases, case studies, video testimonials, and blogs
• Plan and storyboard company videos
• Create new webpages and update existing content to optimize SEO and engagement
• Develop infographics
• Annually review and update library of brochures and sales presentations
• Manage and monitor projects to ensure deliverable deadlines and brand standards are met
• Support other Marketing projects as required

Expected skills and qualifications:

• University Degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent working experience)
• 5+ years experience in Marketing Communications in a B2B environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience developing video content (planning, storyboarding, and working with video production companies) is a plus
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a "can-do” attitude
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office
• Experience working with Adobe suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is preferred
