Sopro
Full Time Brighton, England 28301 - 44500 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

THE COMPANY

With offices in Brighton, Skopje and Miami, and a team in Serbia, Sopro provides sophisticated digital marketing services to hundreds of businesses, from innovative start-ups to sector leaders and global brands.
We have spent eight years redefining B2B demand generation techniques and proving that there are more predictable, higher quality ways to harness technology to create demand.

In the past years, we’ve been busy collecting awards for our people, service, technology, business results, and we are proud to be one of the UK’s fastest growing digital marketing agencies.

THE ROLE

Working in the UK Marketing team alongside the Content and SEO Manager, this exciting role will be responsible for creating content that grows the brand, creates value, drives demand across the marketing funnel, helps the sales team, and ultimately drives leads for Sopro.

Content output is varied: SEO blog posts, whitepapers and reports, web pages, webinars, case studies, video scripts, sales collateral, and more. This means your responsibility includes the creative beyond the copy – working with designers and other stakeholders to produce authoritative and engaging content.

You will be an excellent writer with previous experience in a content role, happy writing content across multiple formats. You should have a thorough understanding of how to develop SEO content that ranks well, be able to conduct keyword and competitor research, and analyse results to inform your work.

Our content forms a key part of the wider marketing strategy, supported by the other marketing specialists in the team: including social, email, video, and paid media. There is huge potential to make your mark on the business and within a supportive, close-knit team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helping to implement the agreed Content and SEO Strategy to drive qualified traffic and conversions.
  • Writing content that uses trustworthy sources to educate and convert: aligning with our tone of voice and buyer personas.
  • Owning the creative – working with designers to produce brilliant creative that enhances our message and copy
  • Owning your own workload - you need to be able to identify opportunities, own projects, collaborate with stakeholders, plan, research and write your own content, and keep team members up to date
  • Analysing data - from keyword research to website analytics and using Sopro campaign data - you should be comfortable using data to tell a story, report, and inform and refine your strategy.
  • Working closely with the wider team to understand the marketing plans and how content aligns and contributes

ABOUT YOU

  • Over two years experience in a content role.
  • Understanding of content development for SEO and lead generation.
  • An understanding of, or experience in, the B2B technology marketplace would be advantageous but is not necessary.
  • Comfortable analysing data and deriving meaning from it.
  • Experience with using CMS and SEO software.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interested in how new technologies can support your work and increase efficiencies.
  • The following traits will serve you well: creativity, proactivity, results-driven, a desire to learn, and a positive attitude

ABOUT US

We’re the people behind the prospects. For all the clever tech, what makes the Sopro service stand out is the people. As we like to tell our clients, we’re a team not a tool.

Our values permeate Sopro Group through our behaviours, not only as people but across the business.

We invest in our people, their development, our products and our working environment. We are ambitious, not only as a business but by encouraging passionate and imaginative collaboration. WHAT WE OFFER

At Sopro we invest in our people – they are what makes our company great and we work hard to make sure that everyone feels like a valued member of the team.

Benefits and perks that we offer include:

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • A yearly bonus & virtual shares in the company
  • Hybrid working
  • Private healthcare options
  • Social and well-being budget for each team
  • Free snacks and drinks in the office
  • Open door policy to all levels of management – everyone’s ideas are listened to and in a lot of cases, implemented.
